Roxanne is a Counselling Psychologist in private practice where she conducts assessments and provides psychotherapy.
Roxanne has worked with the community, volunteering in organisations such as The South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG), Lifeline, Cresset House (residential and work facility for adults with intellectual disabilities) and the Victim Empowerment Centre (VEC) at the South African Police Service (SAPS). Beyond psychology, Roxanne has worked in childcare, office managerial, administrative, human resources and site safety management, showing diverse understanding of greater industry.
During her training, she provided psychotherapy and assessments for adults and minors at various locations within Pretoria, including Itsoseng Clinic in Mamelodi, The University of Pretoria and Tshwane University of Technology. During her training she was also part of a team who designed and implemented a community group intervention to address trauma exposure in children and adolescents within the Pretoria area.
Post-training, Roxanne has been working under the guide of Christi Gadd and Sian Green at Equilibrium Forensic Psychology, where she has shown great competence in medico-legal assessment and report writing. In her work in Equilibrium, Roxanne has fine-tuned her medico-legal skills receiving in depth training in every aspect of the medico-legal process.
